About Us

When Amber Craney bought a house with a pool in 2022, she ran into a problem that would frustrate most homeowners: no one could deliver the water they needed to get it up and going. Instead of giving up, Amber did something that inspires us every day at USLA—she rolled up her sleeves and found a solution.

"I decided to get a CDL and do it myself," Amber says simply. That decision launched Amber's H2O, her pool water and bulk water delivery business that now serves Greenfield and surrounding areas.

From Healthcare to Heavy Equipment

Amber's entrepreneurial journey didn't start with water delivery. As an X-ray technologist, she had built a successful career in healthcare. But when her husband needed help running his own business, Amber stepped in to handle the office work—payroll, tax prep, and everything that keeps a business running smoothly.

Then 2020 brought labor shortages that changed everything. Amber went from behind the desk to working in the field as a laborer, too.

Amber's experience gave her the skills and confidence to launch her own venture. Today, she manages both personal and business banking with USLA while running Amber's H2O.

Deepening Community Ties

Amber's commitment to her community extends beyond her business. Whenever she has the chance, she likes to sponsor local initiatives. One of her recent sponsorships included the swim club at Eastern Hancock, by providing swim lessons to all third graders in the area. "I try to give back when I can, and I try to work locally when I can with other businesses," she says.

This philosophy of community investment is something she values in her banking partner, too. When asked if it's important for businesses to be invested in their community, Amber's response is immediate: "Absolutely."

Because for entrepreneurs like Amber, banking isn't just about transactions—it's about relationships.

"I'm a big fan of small town banks and small businesses, myself," she explains. "I feel like they're more personalized—they care more about the community they're in." When she discovered USLA shared those same values, the decision was easy. "Once we decided on USLA, we were all in."

From mortgages and car loans to business accounts, Amber has trusted USLA with every aspect of her financial life. "I like the small town feel. I know all the people at the front desk when I walk in, and they know me. They know my account number before I even have to tell them!"

The Personal Touch Makes All the Difference

What keeps Amber coming back to USLA? The same thing that drives her own business—personal service and genuine care.

"USLA makes you feel welcome. Any time I have a question, I know we can go in and get it squared away," Amber shares. "I'm really happy with them."

At USLA, customers like Amber remind us why we do what we do. Her willingness to roll up her sleeves, solve problems, and invest in her community embodies the spirit that makes Greenfield strong. We're proud to support the entrepreneurs who take risks every day to build something meaningful in our local communities.

Because at USLA, banking begins with U—and customers like Amber show us what's possible when determination meets opportunity.
